Title: Curly Maple for show

Bill was kind enough to send along an extra piece of the Curly Maple that he used to make my call and wanted me to see what I could make out of it.  Since it was Curly Maple I went back to the old muzzle loading days and pulled out the "mean and nasty" stuff to bring a little life like it used to do on stocks.  I am pleased with the way it turned out.  Since the wood was a gift this one will be going into my collection.

Jerry, the "mean and nasty" stuff looks great on the call. It definitely has the look of the old musket stocks. Great job.
