Title: Amber Woodpecker
Post by: desert dog on September 09, 2007, 10:53:37 AM
Great little bird distress call here.  Effortless puffs of air drives a sound cats and yotes can't refuge.  A simple twirl of the tongue along with some puffs of air creates even more inviting sounds predators can't resist.

$11.00 gets one to your door.

Thanks for looking.

Loren, that's a neat call. :highclap:

Go ahead and send one to Tennessee, pm sent.

Edit:   On second thought... you better make that two, if you got 'em.... I don't want Bop to take up with mine.  :laf:

Coyotehunter_1 and Bop,

I think you will like this call.  I got one and have been playing with it.  I haven't called any woodpeckers in with it yet, but I did get my wife to come to the basement to see what I was "blowing this time".

Actually, I got one of these too. And I'll admit when I first got a hold of it I though what kind of molded garbage is this.

Once I got to tinkering around with it, I couldn't believe how easy it was to use and how much you could vary your sounds. Loren calls it a woodpecker distress, I think it should be called CatXtreme.
Move the little black "O" ring closer to the tip of the reed, and you will not believe the meows this thing will do. I'm serious.
