I just came down from the shop and on the table was a package from Bill. It was the beautiful Cocobolo Deer Grunt he posted here last week.

What a beautiful call. The picture does not show off the workmanship that went into it. Sound is very very good. This is an excellent call, and one I am proud to have in my collection.

Yes I certainly did,

Bill's idea of step drilling the barrel end makes these calls work much better. I don't know of any other call makers doing that today. I think if a few people get to hear and paly one his calls though, it will catch on as a standard for grunt calls. It's a great idea.
