Well, i was watching the tv tonight when a rustle in the kitchen caught my attention. I looked at the counter and there, on my basket of biscuits was a south eastern FIELD MOUSE!! I waited for him to dig into the basket and began the stalk. Using my trianing as a tracker and still hunter, I worked my way up to the basket and pinned the beast with my bare hand! I then stuffed him into a ziplock sandwich baggy, and brought him out on the porch. I then took a knife and gave him a brisk prick in the lung. Didn't break the skin though, no mess that way. This is the most hunting that I've been able to do with all the heat. Oh my Lord, I hear ANOTHER ONE!! Might get a double!
The Great White Hunter....... :eyebrownod:
:laf: :laf: What, no hero pics? :laf:
OH MY GOD!!! :shck:
They must be working with the Skunks that we have here!!!
The critters must be recieving orders from a critter web-site.
This is a much bigger problem than we thought!!!
Why, I think I see the start of another great movie! :congrats: I am glad to hear you didn't use the .223 on the little fellow. There would have been a little blood and then that hole in the wall and the neighbor's wall.

I'm with nailbender...we need hero pics here
We need a "Field Mouse" Forum is what we really need!! :laf: :laf:
But hero pics would be cool too!! :eyebrownod:
Pics are a must on a hunt and stalk like that come on Bushy you have to keep up with things here
Well, the 2nd mouse dove off the counter and made a break for the fridge. I dove at him and tried snatchin him but he beat to it. I did wake up the whole house in my effort to do so. I'll fetch the camera now.
Browning 204, I've established a defensive perimeter of mouse traps, 1-1/2 steel traps, and have strategically placed firearms throughout the house. Will call for backup if my position is compromised.
Better set up a trail cam in the kitchen. Going up against an enemy of unknown force could be your waterloo! :roflmao:
