What's going on over there boys? You guys dont have an early deer season going do you?
There's a lot of banging going on across the river this morning. Sounds like a Civil War reenactment. Seems kinda early for gun deer, and there's too much shooting for it to be a muzzle loader season. :confused:

I think goose opened up today. I don't believe duck is on right now. I think there was a duck season that lasted about 5 days that started last weekend. I'm not 100% sure though about water foul seasons, I haven't done it since I moved away from my home town 20 plus years ago. Used to live for that too. I remember having football practice and having a flock of geese fly over and land in the field outside of town, and as soon as the coach would say hit the showers, all of us guys who hunted race to the locker, get out of our pads, and see who could get in there trucks and fly out there first. :biggrin: That's back when we all had our shotguns behind our seats in our trucks, and we never thought twice about it. :rolleye: Or, Friday nights after football games we'd go chase the girlie's till wee hours, then when they all had to go home we'd go hook the boat up, head out on the lake, get the decoys all set up, fall asleep in the boat, and wake up when it's light out and ducks in our decoys. :doh2: :biggrin: Sorry got sidetracked, brought back memories, good times. :laf: Youth deer season is on right now too, and they can use shotguns also, but I would think that would have to be an awful lot of youths making a push to sound like that. :laf:

No I didn't hear anything, but I live in town and don't have any water within ear shot.
