This is definitely off topic so I thought I would post it here. These are some Christmas ornaments I made for my Sister. Hope you all like em!! :biggrin:

Yeah, that's some cool looking stuff. Kind of refreshing.

The 3rd one in the 1st pic looks like an old spool though   :shrug: :biggrin:

that looks like Magnum Dymondwood.   One of my favorite of the dymondwood products for making calls from.


Those things look cool.  I had to turn some last year for my kids craft fair.   Fun, but they take as long to make as a call does.  You did a nice job on them.  Very nice

Jim-- It's supposed to look like a spool. :wink: :laf:

Al-- Thanks for the ID on the Dymondwood. It does turn nice & smooths very easily. It was easier to work with than I expected.

VV--Yep!! :biggrin:  It's a lot of fun for sure but it's time to make some more pens now. :wink:

I'm hoping to be offering a little something else by Christmas. I think my next lathe adventure will be something everybody will want on the stand. I'll talk more about it when I have something to show. :eyebrow:
