One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people.
He said, "My son, the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all..
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grand son thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."
Well I only feed one, but I throw the other a treat every now and then..................just incase I ever need him.
I only feed one also, but my scale says I feed it too much. :eyebrow:
Todd-- So I wasn't alone in my thinking on this!! :roflmao: :roflmao: I think we really do need both. But too much of one isn't good.
The Yin and the Yang.........the bada and the bing.
:roflmao:
I think ya really only need to work at feeding the good..... the other one always seems to find a way to scrounge a meal no matter how hard ya try to starve it.
