Just finished up my second short reed goose call and I think this one will be staying right here with me. I made it from some of that figured coco with a bit of sapwood in it. The pics really don't do this call any justice, but check it out...

I also made one out of some regular coco but that has a home already too.

Wow...absolutely beautiful.
They almost look like they have some kind of mirage embedded into them. Nice work bud.
if i was really into goose hunting i'd have one word for you ;GREEDY. actually really nice, coloring, grain and finish, what more do you want. also around here when i do hunt geese the weather isnt always the best and i wouldnt want to get it dirty; thats why there are production calls.
Get it dirty man thats what they're made for. It will clean up  I just picked up three more sticks of this coco today. They jacked the freakin' price way up on it this time. It doubled since the last time I bought it. But this stuff is well worth it. :sneer:
