This is a first for me.I put this on the lathe and knocked the sharp edges off on the ends. the barrel is 2 and 3/8 long and 1 1/4 in diameter it is loud and easy to use let me hear your opinions on the call and the pics

Bill,

It does look like a nice call.  (I really am looking at it)  I wonder if the castration band should be down a little more or the board in a little further so that there is not a gap showing.  The picture has super sharp focus!.  What kind of tone board is in that one?

Jerry

Thanks fellers  Jerry that is a Kerry Carver reed I tried to push the band down and it just didn't stay. The board is all the way in,so I will have to see what I can do with that.

Jim that deer hide has been around close to 35 years    and it is a Wis. deer  so I understand why your still looking at the hide :laf:

This is the first open reed call I have gotten, and it is great.  I didn't know if I could use an open reed call or not, but this was has been easy.  It produces some great howls.  Thanks bnccont.
