Brent
Awesome pics Brent, looks like you're makin out pretty good. Thanks for sharing.
Nice pics Brent. Those are some really nice coons.Looks like you had a buisy day. What kind of price you getting out of coon pelts now?
Very nice ;yes;
Thanks for taking the time to grab some pics. With a line like that it's enough work just to check and reset, but seeing your success is great!! I have yet to catch a mink around here....I'm jealous.
Season starts here Dec 1st and I am excited to get started, though even with my excitement I won't be laying as much steel as you are working :puke:
Not bad, but could of been better it the rain had not hurt me for the season opener. I'm right at 30 coons right now. So far the total is 30 coons, 6 coyotes, 3 grey fox, 21 rats, 6 mink, 8 Grinner's and 1 Red.
I have not sold nothing yet. But I haft to pull for gun season this week, so I will be calling to check the prices at the end of the week.
And its supposed to start raining again tonight and rain threw Thurs. Not good!
Brent
Saaaaa Weeeeeeeeeet!! :yoyo:
Third pic from the bottom, that coon looks awful embarrassed. :roflmao:
Who gave Brittney a black eye? :mad2: Am I gonna have to come down there and bust somebody's ass?
No one gave her a black eye Jim, I got her out of bed 1 hr before day light.....lol.....she just didnt have time to fix her self up.....lol....I got to keep moving to get the days in and no time to wait for her to fix her make up....lol
Those coons do that allot Jim, they think if they hide there eyes you can see them.....lol
Stu,
You all should have some Mink down there? I thought about everyone had them. My Mink season has sucked! I should have double what I have now. Its to warm! And there is still allot of food out there. We need some cold temps. But I cant keep the coons out of the sets long enough to get the Mink. But thats ok to.....lol
Brent
Nice catch Brent!!! Was wondering about that new truckI see you are starting to get it broke in goood
Thank s for all the pix & info Brent. I appreciated them.
Great pics Brent!
Looks like you're making out alright on this part of the run.
Brad
Thanks guys!
Bill,
I broke her in right! A few dead deer and now allot of critters...lol.....Nothing like the smell of Pro Choice and Farm land Fox in the bed of a new truck.....lol
Brent

Great pics and catches. That has good to be running you ragged. When do you sleep?
Jerry
Good Grief Yerry.... The boy don't kow when to stop playing and get out of the rain and your worried he's tired :puke: He'll sleep when his tank goes empty.... he still has a couple years before it goes empty as quick as our's :readthis:
Stu,
Your post made a little "ding" and woke me up. I think it might be time to go watch the game and rest.
Yerry

Thanks guys you all are sooooooooooooooooooooo nice! I'm going to miss you all next week when I am at camp!
I gave up the the looks years ago, and got married.....lol
Brent
Sure ;yes; send it on. :yoyo:
Brent, those are great pics. I enjoyed them, I love all the trapping pics.
I have always been curios about trapping but I just wouldn't have the time or know how.
Looks like your doing pretty good!
Thanks Cb223! So far its been a fair season, still to early to call it a good or bad year. With gas at 3.00 plus a gallon its not helping any. But with days in the field with the kids and just being out on the line every day that's all that matters! And I have fulfilled some obligations to do some control work as well, taking out some coons and rats, got me some more land to hunt, fish and call as well as some other jobs! Cant ask for no more than that!
Stu,
As soon as I get back from camp I will get one fleshed up and dyed out to send your way! I also got a piece of some kind of bone here ready for the last coat of clear and I will send it then as well! Three days of salt drying good enough? I got a big old 53# Silver and Black looking coyote today that's going to make a real nice rug! I will try and get some more pic's posted soon he was a awesome looking color!
I also got permishion to trap a place that the land owner is seeing a pair of solid black Coyotes as well. I cant shoot there but he said I could trap all I wanted!............
Brent
Now that's a package worth waiting for ;yes;
Keep the pics coming :bowingsmilie: and have a fun safe time at camp.
Thanks for sharin the pictures with us Brent. :yoyo: Very nice. I like how you showed us pictures of your sets. It kinda brought me back to when I was younger and lookin at the old magazines that would show a cool new set to try. I remember gettin up before school and runnin the big trap lines. :laf: That was when gas was $1.25 a gallon, and we could get about $7.00 a rat, $50.00 plus for coon, mink, fox :nono: I'll never forget the first rat I ever caught, if that sucker could've got off, he was gonna take me. :laf: Anyways, Thanks Brent, good stuff.
iahntr,
I wish I had those days back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Man that brings back the good old days! I was telling Britanae the other day while we were running the line about the good old days and I got a eye roll and a Ole Dad comment.......lol
The days when I had to walk the line every morning and then walk back home and go to school......lol....But I still wish I had them back!
Brent
Since I didnt get my steel set yet I will wait till after deer gun season then I will see if I can catch anything
