Here's a recent pic of the sire. He really enjoys hunting everything. His papa is a Super Grand Squirrel Champion and a 2 time Kentucky State Champion. This dog has treeing on his mind. He hates squirrels, cats, coons and hogs with equal enthusiasm. He weighed in at almost 59 lbs. Friday at the vets.

Here's an outdated picture of the momma, but it still looks just like her. She is my kind of dog. Silent but ruthless on game.
I've been using her more and more for my excursions. Guess I'll use her again after these pups. She weighed in at just over 38 lbs.

Last litter between these two. Some remember, but some won't.

I only wish I had the time to work with one of your curs, it's a great offer that's hard to pass up. :madd:
I know these dogs... not only are they great for hunting, they can make good family pets as well. :thumb2:
I think it's a damn fine deal even tho I'm not a pet person. I'm afraid I would tie it up outside & just feed it. I can't do that to a dog. I'd rather see it go where it will get to do what it loves to do. Those last pups were fine lookin specimens too.
Do I still get a big ol "BITE ME"??

Yeah but so does Bopeye :eyebrownod:
Outstanding, Bop, I'm lookin' forward to havin' a new hunitn' buddy. Hey Jimmie, looks like we're gonna have a new coyote hunter to train.
THEY ARE HERE GUYS!!! I have 7 boys and 3 girls............can you believe it?! TEN PUPPIES :rolleye:
I sure hope the female, my wife and my kids can keep them all alive. I'm kind of from the old school thinking, let the strong survive, but not the wife and kids. They are already getting the bottles and puppy formula together........ :shck:
Here they are just hours old.

Jeb
Bop,
Congratulations! Does this make you a grandfather, again?
Jerry
:holdon: 10? You say TEN? :shck:
With the wife and kids hand feeding them..... I bet I know who's going to be on poopy patrol ! :puke:
:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
"I don't know nothing about breeding for puppies", where does all that white come from? The parents don't appear to be marked that way. Just interested.
Richard
Whitehare,
Bop's neighbor has a white poodle. :shck: But he isn't talking.
Jerry
Man, thats a lotta chow and puppy poop both :laf:

I don't mind telling. If you'll go back in these pups lineage, you will find dogs marked up like them. Their grandma on their mom's side was one of them. Also, there is the OMCBA Hall of Fame dog Smith's Streak that was marked with some white on him. He is in their pedigree as well.
It just crops up wherever and whenever. I personally prefer the solid dogs, but as far as I can tell, either color doesn't seem to affect their hunt any. :eyebrownod:
Oh, just for the record, momma is gonna get spayed after this litter. I can't handle these unexpected litters like this. She's starting to make a good hunting companion, but that doesn't do me any good if she stays knocked up. :eyebrownod:
This will be your last chance at these particular dogs. I'm keeping at least one, possibly two for myself and that's that.
One of the pups out of the last litter has already had his first kill on a raccoon. Nine months old and killing coons.........not bad.
One of them is being used now to hunt wild hogs. I don't know how that's working out so far, but I don't expect his life expectancy to be real long. :rolleye:
Beautiful pups Bop, wish I could get one. I'm trying to talk the misses into a beagle pup for Christmas but she says
my Lab is enough dog for all of us :roflmao:
I also had a chance on a decent lined redbone pup for practically nothing, she wouldnt bite on that either.
Wow! I havent been on the fourm for a few days and look what happens!I cant wait to see them as they grow. Its like a early Christmas.I think Ill have a cigar . :congrats:
Dang Bop this is just her second litter , right ? One more , come on one more. Btw why hand feed them ? Is ten too many pups for her to feed ?
Jeb
Still got 10 pups!!! This female is a wonderful momma. Been keeping the little buggers warm in the freezing temps...... :eyebrownod:
Here they are at 2 weeks old. Lot's of shadow.

Very tempting :wo:
Those pups sure are growing fast. Doesn't seem like there would be enough faucets for all 10 of them to be kept that full.
Jerry
Pup pictures today............. :eyebrownod:
