Title: big cat
Post by: Arkansas lineman on December 02, 2007, 07:53:39 AM
Killed this cat Friday afternoon. It was sneaking up behind me while I was calling.I got turned around and got a20 yard shot. It died looking for a wounded rabbit. It never knew I was there.

Nice cat! How much he weight?

I have had a few sneak up behind me and  it still amazes me how they just seem to appear sometimes out of thin air.

I haven't weighed it yet.I would be afraid to even guess I can tell you I was straining just to hold it up.

I actually heard it what was weird is it came in at what sounded like a trot. At first I thought it was a coyote. It was so close I couldn't see it for the tree I was sitting beside. Unusual for a bobcat to come in fast like that.

We've got cats all over the property I have to hunt, but it's illegal to hunt them in NH.

I've booked a trip to TX for my son and I to hunt pigs, cats and coyotes.  I can't wait.
