I recently finished making a couple new calls. They are a new shape for me. I have made one for a customer and one that I gave to an 8 year old, new to hunting. But these are the first I have attempted to sell. I call them my Golf Ball calls. They are shaped like a golf ball and about the same size. They really fit nicely into the hand and carry easily in the pocket. Closed reed is sold. The open reed is available for $15 shipped.
The first one is an open reed distress using one of THO's toneboards. It is made from Bloodwood and is about 2 5/8" over all length. It is shipped with a protective cover as show in the pictures.

LoginThe second is also bloodwood with a blackwood mouth. It can be voiced cottontail or jack. It is over all 2 1/8".

First thing I thought of was an apple w/ the red body, green leaf, & stem. :shrug: But the Cherry Bomb seems appropriate. ;yes;

Still got these two available. They didn't go over very well for some reason, so no, I have not made any more. May give them a try again though.
I'll take the closed reed, and for the record, I dig the "Cherry Bomb" :biggrin: I'll let ya know about the hand fit and function when I get'r, but I don't for see any problems. :wink:
They are some really neat looking calls. I like the name Cherry Bomb as well but what do you think of the name "Cherry Poppers"? :doh2: Well maybe not. :laf:

I's like to keep the open reed call "Golf Ball Call" that I bought from Braz a secret but I have to tell you this golf ball call can perform, amazing the sounds that this little sucker can produce and loud as all get out! :biggrin: Just glad that I was able to pick this one up. If you are looking for a workhorse, this call will do it! :yoyo:
