Quote... any questions feel free to start a new topic. Actually I encourage it over PM's, that way others may benefit from the conversation.

Again, if your name is listed here, e-mail sent from the board TO YOU being blocked on your end.

Jim.,
Maybe you just need to change your emails so they don't look like spam.  :doh2: :laf:

Seriously, I checked to see if anything  "FnF" was listed in my Yahoo ISP blocked addresses folder , it was not shown as blocked. Nothing in my spam folder either.

Although a little slow at times, I have been receiving standard email notifications for FnF pm's and pm replies.
No biggie on this end... just wanted to let you know what was going on.

Yeah, your seems to be seriously delayed.
I know several of the Hosting Clients using Yahoo mail also, dont get their bills until two or three days after they are sent either.

Here's what's coming back every time the system tries to send you a notification, with the exception of the subject line in red changing each time;
The message identifier is:     1J1Pbs-0008H8-NH
The subject of the message is: New Personal Message: Comments
The date of the message is:    Sun, 09 Dec 2007 17:06:32 -0000

The address to which the message has not yet been delivered is:

  coyotehunter_1@yahoo.com
    (ultimately generated from CH1@finsandfur.net)
Delay reason: SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data:
    host c.mx.mail.yahoo.com [216.39.53.3]: 421 Message temporarily deferred - 4.16.51. Please refer to http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/defer/defer-06.html

No action is required on your part. Delivery attempts will continue for
some time, and this warning may be repeated at intervals if the message
remains undelivered. Eventually the mail delivery software will give up,
and when that happens, the message will be returned to you.

Most of the problems with the mail being labeled as spam is because they usually have links in them. Your notifications have a link so you can click it and go to your PM.
When you combine the fact that the e-mail has a link, along with the fact that it's automatically generated and not sent by a warm body (which spam blockers can tell) it's sets off red flags.
Yahoo, AOL, and Comcast are the worst with way too sensitive systems.

Just sign up for one.  :roflmao:

I don't mind. I am still getting the emails. I just had to add the email addy to my address book in order to get the emails instead of them getting filtered.

I have some G-Mail acct's to hand out if anybody is interested. I used it when I signed up here & it works very well. I've never had a problem with it & I never have to delete any spam. After 30 days it drops the 31st day off automatically & you WON'T run out of FREE storage with it. If anybody wants to try G-Mail just PM me your address & I'll send you an Invite!!  G-Mail also allows huge files to be sent if this is of any concern/necessity.

Lemme Know!!

Hey HaMeR

Ya no longer need an invite to join Gmail.  They took the program off beta status.  Anyone can sign up for an account.

I use it and really like it.
