Title: Open and Closed Reed for Christmas
Post by: kevinm on December 13, 2007, 10:54:47 AM
Here are 2 pair of calls for my dad and father-in-law.
Toneboards are from KO, and sound very good.

First picture is not the best
Both are Bubinga or African Rosewood

The flash on my camera washed out the tonboard.

Here is the set for my Father-in-law
Both are Walnut. The open reed is finished with teak oil and wax.
It also has a KO toneboard.

Look great  :highclap: I`ve had mixed results with black walnut one is easy and the next is hard to get all the pits out of. I got a cool one i`m playing with now thats mostly sap wood. Later
