I have the utmost respect for all Law Enforement Officers BUT,,, there are not enough of them & they just can't respond fast enough in most cases. This is not a knock on any of them,, just the plain truth.
If someone comes thru your back door on a peaceful warm spring evening they can be done in just a few minutes & gone. The Police can't get there fast enough. Especially since the perp is probably unwilling to allow his victims to use the phone at that particular time.
