Heres a BIG eagle that tried to eat me on new years eve while i was rabbit hunting. I had to change my pants after this encounter :eyebrownod: He was right behind a big clump of sage brush when i stumbled apon him. :biggrin:

That's pretty wild.
What exactly happen? It looks like the bird dropped down into the snow pretty good there. You can see the outline of his feet and head also. He wasn't taking a nap. :nono: Tell us what happen.
haha im not really sure what happend. i just came around the brush and he was sitting there then busted off trying to fly. Ya it took him a while to get out of the snow. It was about 2-3 feet deep

I wonder if he went screamin down for a rabbit or something and sunk himself in. :confused: Cause mannnn that is a helluva imprint in the snow.
Ya i thought it was pretty wierd to. When he was trying to take off i was wondering if he was injured or something but once he got in the air he seemed fine. Maybe it was just "special" :biggrin:
You didn't notice if he was carrying off your rabbit did you?
