Title: new law....no more lead bullets...
Post by: TRAPPERDALE on January 08, 2008, 12:31:28 AM
Another law to screw up hunting and trapping in California.
NO MORE LEAD BULLETS.
No lead bullets in pistols and rifles in my half of the state.
My son can't even plink at pop cans with lead bullets
Does anyone know anything about solid copper bullets? $$$$$
Or any bullets other than lead?
Looking for 32-20,  32 win.spl.,
22 long, long rifle, or short .
thanks for any help.

Geez, I sure wish I could help you out. The laws (and libs) over there are a killer. I wish we had the coyote and cat numbers, but I'm glad I live where I do.

Barnes is the only company that I know that is making copper bullets.  I believe that they are only making rifle bullets.  Barnes is also making a non-lead (non-copper) bullet, but again only in rifle calibers.   Since the lead ban affects only one area of the United States, I doubt if there will be a rush by bullet companies  to make bullets for the area.
