Title: Introducing - The "Reactor"

Amboyna Burl and Blackwood...This is the first of its kind, and my newest design for '08. It feels good to get a little creative once and a while :biggrin:

That is actually a bark inclsuion on the Blackwood in the above pic, its not a toolmark :wondering:

Thanks guys...I really like the burls too. Except for when you cut into them and find them loaded with bark pockets :madd:

I am finishing up some other combos too. I'll try to get posted soon.

I like Burls too. The bark problems kinda smack you in the face don't they?? :doh2:  L&R are Buckeye Burl & the middle is Amboyna. The big black mark is bark.

Very nice Glenn. The bark pockets I ran into really ruined a perfectly good burl. They were to the point of actually being near dust already. I managed to salvage some of the good stuff, but wasted quite a bit too.

I might have to hit ya up for a pen for my wife sometime...do have any clips with the medical profession on it? She's a nurse and just landed a new job that she starts next week.

This awesome call is accompanied by another of Steves new calls and I can say that the pair "Found a Good Home"! :yoyo:  If you haven't picked up one of North Bay's Calls you need to, they are worth it in more ways than one. :biggrin:
