I cant answer your question but would love some feed back from you later when you kill some coyotes with it.

I have an AR 15 chambered in 6.8. It has a 1-10 twist Shilen heavy fluted barrel. I haven't had a chance to shoot it much but It does pretty well with Silver State brass and 110 Hornady VMax bullets.

Thanks for the links straycat, I joined the 6.8 forum and am waiting for feedback  from some of the guys over there.  It seems that cheap 6.8 ammo doesn't exist.  The cheapest ammo for 1000rds goes for $900 unless you're law enforcement.  I  have to say, after a day at the range i was impressed.  Sub-MOA groups at 100yds are cake.  Thats shooting on a bench with no rest other than the table itself.  The 6.8SPC feels identical to the .223 as far as recoil and it is slightly quieter than .223 as well.

CCP, I cant wait to tell you all about what this round does to coyotes.  Since i've purchased the weapon, i have called in three yotes in two weekends with a rabbit distress call that i purchased from Bill (bncont).  Unfortunately, every hunt failed on a matter of circumstance.  The first yote came within 10yds of my girlfriend, her friend, and myself.  But i was never offered a shot due to a little hill that impeded on my taking of said yote.  The second and third were spooked off by a young friend of mine who has a problem with sitting still.  Never the less, i shall percivere.  And you will be the first to here of it.

Thanks for the feedback,  -Bushy
