Title: Locked deer, one half eaten
Post by: FinsnFur on October 17, 2006, 09:31:15 PM
Yah  :yoyo: that sounds like something we need to be seeing don't it?  :eyebrow:

I keep hearing about a video clip or a still shot, going around, of a couple 10 pointers locked together. One is dead, and the other one is dragging him around......but...his hind quarters are all tore up from coyotes or wolves trying to take him down  too :shck:

Anyone hear about this, or see it?

Man that is sad, I hope the people filming it went ahead and put it out of its misery. Wonder how it got away from the coyotes that was knawing on its butt?

That is awful. Mother nature can be very cruel at times.

I'm still trying to figure out how that one got the coyotes, wolves what ever it was, off of it. That just amazes me.
Can you imagine the trauma that thing had to be going through?

I don't know how much truth there is to it, but rumor has it that this was filmed up here near a little town called Gotham.

Wow, I can't believe that eventually trying to get away from whatever was eatin it, that it didn't get loose from the other deer.  That and I wonder why the dead deer doesn't look eaten.  Any idea how it died?

That is amazing.  Why did the predators eat on that one not the dead one

My guess is instincts telling it to take advantage of the disadvantaged......did that make sense?

Kinda like a Bass zipping through the lily pads to get your lure, even though there's two dead minnows floating above him.

What I wanna know is, Did the person Shoot the live one to get it out of its misery or at least call a game warden?

doesn't look like coyotes or wolfs to me.  looks to be wild dogs might be the culprit.  I allways thought coyotes and wolfs went for the juglar and then proceeded to eat it.  with a critter that obviously could not defend itself it should have been a easy kill
