Here's a few from this weekend.

The first of the three Larry shot solo on Sat. morning. He's been seeing and getting reports from landowners of coyotes crossing in the same location, same time of day - so he decided to try a little sit and wait game. He waited over an hour (without calling) and spotted one mousing his way. One little "toot" on his call, and he was bouncing towards him.
I hooked up with Larry Sunday afternoon and we made a few woods calls before dark. Had a bobcat come in on the last stand - it hung around for a while - then scurried off. Muted the caller and heard something else running around in the leaves far below - maybe a coyote? Whatever it was, it never showed. After dark, we hit a few places for some moonlight calling. Had two come in quick on the first stand, and couldn't get a good shot. Second stand was a blank, third stand produced one coming in hard on Larry's side right for the decoy. A quick shot from Larry's 12 gauge stopped him DRT.
We met again early the next morning, for a few stands. At the first stand, right at daylight, Larry has this mangy one

Didn't hunt as long as most weekends, and didn't get much trigger time, but it was very productive for the few stands we made, and fun to fool a few - no matter who pulls the trigger.
