Title: nasty weather
Post by: songdog on January 31, 2008, 05:43:14 PM
Looks like anyone that might have wanted to do some scouting at lbl when they got there are gonna get wet.. The wind has blown all day long and rained most of the day.. They are saying winds 15 to 25 tomorrow which all of you know what that means.. I think the rain and snow are supposed to be gone by tomorrow.. I am fixing to go over there and meet some of these rascals.. Take care y'all and i will keep you posted..

Looks like today will be the last of it until Monday for all you folks down there, as it sweeps across. Be safe and have fun

Not enough snow for tracking except maybe the north end of the place. Ground is still froze and with 15 mile an hour winds it will probably stay that way most of the day at 30 degrees even with the sunshine. But hopefully it will thaw enough for them to find some sign for direction.

And the sun will definately improve the roads for most of them traveling , although they are not too bad here at the house. The Tennessee boys shouldn't have much trouble at all. I just hope Kee and the boys already there were very careful on those crooked hilly roads in there this morning.

I expect I will see fur down this afternoon when I get there.  :eyebrownod:  Jimmie
