I would have to go with the Pats also. I actually could care less who wins this one, but beins the Giants are the underdogs, I'll probably have to root for them.

Patriots are gonna crush that loser Eli and the Giants. Last time the Pats played the Giants, the Pats where not playing to their fullest potential.

I say 34-17 Pats. Final

Peyton Manning, Tony Romo and Tom Brady, go to heaven to visit God and watch the Celtics play a game. God decides who will sit next to him by asking the boys a question...

God asks Peyton Manning first: "What do you believe?" Peyton thinks long and hard, looks God in the eye, and says, "I believe in hard work, and in staying true to family and friends. I believe in giving. I was lucky, but I always tried to do right by my fans." God can't help but see the essential goodness of Manning, and offers him a seat to his left.

Then God turns to Tony Romo and says, "What do you believe?" Tony says,"I believe passion, discipline, courage and honor are the fundamentals of life. I, too, have been lucky, but win or lose, I've always tried to be a true sportsman, both on and off the playing fields." God is greatly moved by Tony's sincere eloquence, and he offers him a seat to his right.

Finally, God turns to Tom Brady: "And you, Tom, what do you believe?" Tom replies, "I believe you're in my seat."

I would rather see the giants win compared to bellacheat's pats.  the only thing the giants needs to figure out is the defense against there passin game.  if the pats can't get the long bombers downfield they will nail ya on the 5-10 yd pass's I hope it is the giants 27-25.  wishfull thinkin but hey it could happen

It's always good to see one of the dirter playing teams get beat. Plus it was good to see Brady rattled. He was off course the whole game yet made a helluva stand in the 4th. It's good to see Eli turn the corner & get one under his belt & I've always liked the underdogs. Anybody that thought the NY defense couldn't do it apparently didn't have time to watch their last 4 games. NE wasn't outplayed or outcoached,, they were out willed by the G-Men. One of the best games ever played regardless of the stage it was played on. It should go down as one of the top 6-7 games ever in Pro football.

1972 Miami Dolphins  17-0 & still undefeated!!

Awesome game!!! I told my wife almost identical to what Hamer said. When the Giants receiver caught it with one hand and a his helmet, I said Giants are gonna win, because they want it more. Yes sir............they did indeed......... :congrats:

I'm with ya Hamer on your Assessment of the Game.

How many NE fans are still looking at their TV's like this>>>  :shck:

What a football game!! 60  minutes of defense on both sides of the ball!! The SB really needed this game.

WOW was I wrong! It wasn't a close game at all even if the Pats won!  But they lost. I guess the Giants wanted it more than the Pats.

Glad I didn't wage any bets on this one with ya'll.

On the bright side, my Mom won $500 from a pool that I was running.

The era of great Pat's teams is over (it was actually over when they played the Ravens)  They will go 11 and 5 10 and 6 next year.

Eli's a flash in the pan.  He has played WAY above his skill level the last few weeks.

I agree, the Pats are a pretty nasty team.  Especially Harrison.  I think when he retires from the NFL he will have to go back and finish his sentance in the big house  :rolleye:

Oh well, there's always the Celtics LOL

NE isn't going anywhere Al. They'll be as strong as ever next year IF they draft a young linebacker. Those guys are 10+ year veterans. Brady isn't finished either. I think their weakest link is at running back. They have 2 good ones but not a great one. 18 wins is a couple seasons for a lot of teams. My Raiders haven't won 18 games in the last 4 years!!    :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

I will tell her, thank you!

I have been running this pool for 3 years. This is the first time it had a $20 buy in, it was $50.

The first year I won, last it was my girlfriend and this year my Mom. I get alot of crap from the guys at work but there is NO way to rig it. I always pull #'s in a group of people so there is no questions.

Did you see the hit Brady took when he got sacked at the end of the game?

I would much rather be Browning today than Brady -

That had to have left a mark lol

Hammer,  Ben,  and I went with the Giants.  Just to make this clear I'm not a NY fan and since they beat
the Cowboys that I hate so much I had to cheer for them.  My team's the Skins.
My wife says we would have won some $$ if they both didnt score tward the end.  Not sure what
her numbers were, 4-0 ?   I dont know lol....

One thing is for sure, the end of the game showed why Brady was a 6th round draft pick.

he has great vission, can throw very accurately short and even medium passes, and he is very smart

but he has no arm.

The Pats have built an entire offense around his weaknesses.  Short pass,  catch and run.  it's been that way since he took over.    It's why Moss was not a factor in the last 1/3'd of the season, and hardly at all in the playoffs.   Brady cannot throw the long ball.  can't scramble, and when the offensive line doesn't show up for the game, just like yesterday, he's a sitting duck.

He still gets the job done tho. Altho on the last sack in the 1st half you could see his frustrations beginning to build. They do have the 7th overall pick in the draft this year too. I'm sure they'll use it wisely. I'm not a Giants fan either but they deserved to be there based on their last 4 games. And Brady got "numbered" real hard didn't he??  :nono:  I know he felt that one for sure.

Every time they showed him on TV I would say,, "You're in a fight now aren't ya??" I think he responded well at the end of the game for the lead but the Defense couldn't help them this time. And he can't throw accurately that far either.

All in all with a #7 pick in the draft & NO competition ( Jets, Bills, Dolphins) in their division next year the Pats will be back in the playoffs.

BTW-- Brady's last 2 losses were to the Mannings if anybody cares.   :laf:
