Title: Any members get blown away?
Post by: vvarmitr on February 06, 2008, 05:28:33 PM
Hearing on the radio about the death toll from the hurricane that hit TN & KY.

Did any of our members get caught up in this?

I hope not as well, this is bad...it was strong enough to put ducks into the side of houses and waterfowl littered the area.

Just watched CNN a few min ago and it destroyed some college campus.

The storms hit the area just outside of Hopkinsville pretty hard.  A lot of damage but no loss of life.  kcb346 and I both came through pretty much unscathed but some other folks weren't so lucky.  Meade county got hit pretty hard also, and M.Darian.Barr lives up around there.  I hope he came through it okay as well.  Overall Tennessee got it a lot worse than Kentucky and I hope it didn't get any of our members.

Jimmie, did it come through Mayfield?

Pat

Lots of flooding here. Some folks had to be evacuated.  Otherwise we were lucky.
