Great looking Bonker Al, very nice work. :highclap:
perfect. I will take it. pm sent back.
what is a CA finish by the way? it is very nice.
:highclap: Nice call Al! :highclap:
The CA finish that I use is an adaptation of what pen turners have been using for a few years now. It is basically two different thickness of super glue applied at different stages of the finishing process. It is very hard and very durable. It also completely seals the wood.
Running down to grab lunch Ben, I will get back to you in a bit
AL
That's a real beauty Al !
Love the wood combo, very classy. :congrats:
Wow.....that is some burl....... Nice! :yoyo:
I really like turning Afzelia. If you haven't tried it you don't know what you're missing. Very nice call Al & bigben!!
Al-- Isn't the CA finish almost maintainence free? Doesn't it get shinier with use & hand oils affect it less?
That's a nice looking call Al. That's a different looking shape than most i have seen.

got this call on friday and was blowin on it all day saturday at a expo and man is this thing sweet. it is a shame fox season is over but know it is time for some coyote hunting.
That is a great lookin call. Make sure you bring it to the next hunt or picnic. I want to see it in person.
it was funny when I was getting in a buddys truck (he also makes calls) I said I can't wait to play around with my new call I just got today. he aked who made it and I said THO. he says so you were the lucky one that got that call. I think this is the best looking call I have in my collection. the finish on it is great and to tell ya the truth I tested the durability of it yesterday. I went to sit down in a chair at a table and it bounced of the table and I thought oh no I got a flat spot on it allready. looked er over and no flat spot to be found. that ca finish must be some tuff stuff.
