Title: Baby blue closed reed bear cub in distress
Post by: ninthinning on February 16, 2008, 10:17:37 AM
Baby blue prey in distress bear call.  Closed bronze phosphor reed with acrylic sound board.
Nice bear cub squall distress sound. Call turned from cast acrylic rod. This call can be voiced
to any animal sound you want: duck, bear, jack rabbit, fawn, cotton tail, coaxer or other.
This call has gone hunting.

Thanks for the nice comments.

Jim,  These calls take a couple extra hours to sand and polish.  I'm going to try polishing with the flame from a small jewelers oxygen acetylene torch that should be delivered to me this week.  If successful,  fire polishing should save a couple hours per call.  I tried to fire polish some acrylic parts with mapp gas propane torch and melted one, caught one on fire and burnt the third.  For now I just sand and polish the parts.

If you have ever seen custom acrylic duck and goose calls, and you have ever tried to work acrylic, $65 is CHEAP!
