Jim, These calls take a couple extra hours to sand and polish. I'm going to try polishing with the flame from a small jewelers oxygen acetylene torch that should be delivered to me this week. If successful, fire polishing should save a couple hours per call. I tried to fire polish some acrylic parts with mapp gas propane torch and melted one, caught one on fire and burnt the third. For now I just sand and polish the parts.
If you have ever seen custom acrylic duck and goose calls, and you have ever tried to work acrylic, $65 is CHEAP!
