I took a break from making wine stoppers today to finish off a couple of calls that have been sitting on the bench. I had mentioned that I had liked several of the "old fence post" Osage Orange calls that had been posted so this was one of the ones I finished. The back had a nice dark tone to it. The mouthpiece is Blackwood.

Didn't finish the mouthpiece for this one, but thought I would share it anyway. It is a little piece of Redwood Burl that has some decent figure in it. Even better is that you can see the figure in the picture.

Thanks for looking,
Jerry
Those are both beauctiful calls Jerry. The burl call will be an eye catcher for sure when you get a mouth piece on it.

Nice looking calls Jerry!! I wondered why you hadn't been posting much. That redwood call is gonna be extra sharp with a mouthpiece. I have an unexhaustible supply of osage too.
Dang! I envy you fellows that can make a fence post look that good! Those are sweet Hawk!
