I received a call from my brother the other day wanting a couple of duck calls. What else can you do when your little brother asks you to make some calls but make them. This is the first. Since I lack the experience of making duck call toneboards, I cheated a little and used an Echo Calls toneboard.
The barrel was made from one of my blanks that I cast using green, bronze, and black pearl colors. I tried to match the green the best that I could to the toneboard.

That is a cool looking barrel. Duck calls can be a finicky beast to make when it come to the toneboards. I use a molded toneboard in some of mine, but I also had a custom jig made a while bag to make my own toneboards. Now if I could just get around to making a few of them :iroll:

 I don't recall that conversation but I do forget things now & again. Just send it here to the house in case I don't make it that way before next duck season. :innocentwhistle:

That's a very nice call as usual. The colors are perfect for spring/summer hunting.
:holdon: That would make a nice slate call for spring gobblers too!! :eyebrow:
Ain't much into acrylic calls, but that deserves an ATTA BOY! :highclap:
Very nice. :congrats:
