I found this pair in the mail when I got home this afternoon. The Cronk Howler sounds better, is easier to play and is louder than any howler I have heard. The enclosed reed call made by Huntncarve has my favorite JC Reed sound. The closed reed call is made from very beautiful walnut and has four perfectly checkered panels. The checkering is rugged and should last forever.

I have one of Dave's calls and as good as it sounds I don't know if it will see the field. I might take it for a ride in my pickup, assuming the sun is shining. :laf:
