Title: African Blackwood and Maple Burl
Post by: armyturner on March 04, 2008, 11:28:51 PM
Here is a pair that I have been wanting to turn for a while. First is a two piece Blackwood/Maple burl call. The lines that you see in the maple are lines of spalt about the thickness of a hair. I have never seen spalt lines so fine. The call is 4" long and 1 1/4" at largest diameter. The call has a 5/8" bore and is fit with 2 o-rings. Voiced cottontail or jack. $20 shipped SOLD

Next is a Blackwood closed reed. The call is 3 3/4" long and 1" in diameter. The call has a 1/2" bore. Voiced cottontail or jack. $15 shipped  SOLD
