Title: Spalted Walnut Open Reed

Tis call started out a little bigger,but as i was told becareful it will chip out and it did.This is what I ended up with

The only place i used super glue is where a piece fell out after itwas finished thats why it isn't in the hand call store

I didn't give any of the spalted walnut to Jimmie he got some of the Highly figured walnut
I kept the really good stuff for myself

You all know I'm not a call maker but I'm curious... 
I read about the super glue finish, it sounds like a good idea.  Would something like that not help harden and stabilive the softer parts in the wood?

I have never used the super glue finish so can't really answer that truthfully,but it sure seems like it should
