This call made me do some work.The walnut chipped away instead of turning nicely ,but
it is amazing what 60 grit sand paper will help you accomplish

Looks good Bill!! You're really getting some good mileage out of that spalted walnut by laminating it!! And it looks like you're trying to frame it between the other woods. Very nice!!

Nice Bill, real nice. I have some burl walnut I am going to try out real soon, it has sat by my wood stove for several years and is getting a little to dry if you know what I mean.
