George,
Thats a sweet mount. :highclap: Where did that coyote come from? Give us a few details?
Thanks,
bootmud
WOW! Now that's cool.
Pat
Totally awsome George. :yoyo: :yoyo:
boot,
thats one of the dogs i took in Maine,,
you should get up there some day a guy like you would love it,,
my back stabber will be up there :eyebrownod:
George,
You are right in that the eyes are VERY important in taxidermy work. You can get by with a few flaws on a mount if the eyes are set right. Likewise, you can have an otherwise perfect mount with badly set eyes that looks terrible. Looks like you had a pretty good taxidermist.
Jerry
Very nice George.
You got some other great mounts too ! :bowingsmilie:
I like the pic with the two pigs, and the coyote
in the corner. I like those "shoulder" mount coyotes.
Just curious how big a bear is that?
that one was a small bear, i think it dressed out 130 or around that ,, the size f the bear dictated the mount,
I have 3 other bear mounted that are larger but this was my favorite bear & best hunt. ,, I called a bear in waiting on the mount..
ps most of my mount are done by freinds,,,
the coyote was done by DICKS TAXIDERMY out of Maine
Nice! :yoyo:
Good stuff George.
I figured the bear was a little bit on the smaller size,
with that style of mount, but it's a cool mount, and I totally
agree that it's not just about the size of the animal that makes
it a trophy, or makes it special.
Feel free to share your other bear mounts, and any other ones ya have.
