Title: Predator trumpets
Post by: armyturner on April 02, 2008, 10:05:23 AM
Here are a couple of "predator trumpets" that I made a few days ago. A guy on another forum wanted a predator call that resembled a turkey trumpet. These are the results of my efforts. The first was the prototype. It is walnut with a red stag antler mouth piece. It is a little rough around the edges as I was trying to figure it out as I went. It is extremely loud and wicked raspy though. The second is the one going to him. It is acrylic with a delrin mouthpiece. They are about 7 1/2" and 6 1/2" long respectively.

armyturner,

That acrylic one is wild looking.  I really like the color scheme.  Actually I like the whole thing. :yoyo:

Very interesting to say the least.  :congrats: And they do look good.

I'd be real interested in hearing something like that
