Title: explain the rules of a unloaded rifle in LBL?
Post by: LBLDOG on April 12, 2008, 08:31:00 PM
Iunderstand about it  Im wondering about the clip on a ar-15 , is that every bullet taken out of the clip or is that just the clip taken out of the rifle? I have wondered about this before because my partner sometimes took his and he would take every one out of the clip every time we would  move.  :wo:  I  guess im going to get a 10 round clip for mine because I also dont know if they frown on a 30 round clip or not ? What do you guys do when you use the ar-15 at LBL?

The LBL website says...... "Firearms transported in vehicles must be unloaded in both magazine and chamber."

To be on the safe side I would unload the magazine even if it is not actually in the weapon.   In Kentucky and the Kentucky portion of LBL, a 10 round magazine is the max you can use for hunting.
