This is a crow call I made for our computer tech guy at my school district. I teach middle school Industrial Tech and our tech guy asked if I had any crow calls and I didn't but I agreed to make him one by the following day. I decided since we were covering the mini-lathe with the kids I would use it as a demonstration piece. I cut, drilled, turned, sanded and polished this call in 42 minutes. That is how long we had for class.
I read your other post first.
That's a mighty fine lookin call,
and you whipped that baby out. :yoyo:
Mighty fine call Kuipdog.......I like the design. Most crow calls are kinda big and bulky, not yours. One thing I might suggest is a deeper groove if someone wanted to put it on a lanyard. Other than that I love it. Nice work. I also like the fact that you are taking the time to introduce young ones to our sport. You may not be taking them out there, but I bet after they make their own they just might want to take it home and try it out. :sneer:
I like the shape. Looks like it would feel good in the hand. Turkhunter
