Beautiful day, nailed some brookies and these rainbows on Mickey Finns and Bead Head Brown Wooly Bugger.

Thanks guys, I rolled em in flour, pepper n salt, right in the frying pan, MMMMMMMMM....raining hard to day, Im taking a lazy Sunday then gunna hit another pond this evening, the rain should get em real active.

thanks FnF, i love the trout but for hard core brute fishing you cant beat a smallmouth on the fly rod...im headin north for vacation this friday, turkey season, and in the afternoons im gunna be chasin some smallmouths with the fly rod.

Are you using 80 pound braided line too?........... :biggrin:...im not a flyrod snob, i own a heavy duty bass rod...i use it with floating plugs when im jump shooting ducks....works awesome casting out and snagging the ducks then reeling them in  :eyebrow:

Went out in a driving downpour, Mano el Trouto, the brookies were acting like bluefish, jumping and feeding like crazy!

took this pic today of a heron nailing a small turtle, you can just see the turtles head in his mouth
