Title: lathe for free!

Look what someone gave me today! Is it a good one?? I never heard of it. Needs cleaned up but it works well.

Anytime you get something free and it works it has to be good  :laf:

If it runs straight and nothing is bent looks to me that you are ready to start turning
You got a lot of extras with that one

4 chucks, two lathe beds, two tail stocks, two heads, a drill chuck, a pen mandrell, three belts, several size pulleys, and a bunch of other stuff. I am cleaning it up right now. :eyebrownod:

Well I have a bigger one but it is not very well made this thing is pretty interesting and runs true.
Does anyone know about this brand?

Penn States Industries carries carbo-tec. I have used one for years in my Ind. Tech  classes at the middle school. They work great, and they do a good job.
