What did I forget?
Any questions?
Dont forget, everyone needs to start a new topic and keep placing their entries into that topic. Everyone will have their own topic.
This will help me keep track of everyone since I doubt I'll have the time to continuously edit a master list like last year.
I'll pin each persons topic for the span of the tournament.
Oh and thanks to all the members whom contributed to the FnF Fund Raising events to make this tournament possible :yoyo:
Looks and sounds good to me I am ready, now I just need to find the fish big enough to enter
Looks good Jim......Bill and I are gonna get started this weekend. :eyebrow:

That leaves me out my darn spendy camera don't put the date on the pic?
Hey why such the huge salmon size? Aint but one Salmon out of five that gets that big, I think?
Salmon? They average way over 36" inches dont they?
When I lived on Lake Michigan they had an annual Salmon O Ramo every year and I coulda swore some of the Salmons on the charts were well into the 50 inch range.
Your new camera HAS to have a time and date stamp... :wo:
sounds good to me Jim guess I know what I will be doing tomorrow and Saturday now if I can only find my TNT :roflmao: but hey I have a whole week off in june to spend fishing too Sweet good luck everyone :yoyo:
Looks good.
I'll mess around with my camera and get the time and date working.
Brad
Looks good Jim, first I got to run downtown and pick up the fishing license, I set aside some money outta my check just for this purpose :eyebrow:
I best set my date stamp correct as well, I hate using it but these arent beauty shots anyhow
Good luck everyone !!!
yeah jim unless we are going out and catching moby dick I think 36'ft is a bit large for saltwater fish aint it? just hecklin ya. might want to edit that.
Jim,
A 36" silver, red or pink salmon would be equivalent to requiring all bass to be 25 lb minimums. Matter fact if I hook into any in the 36" range you'll all be seeing me on national TV with some kind of big check.
But unless I figure out how/if at all, if my camera has the date stamp on it, I'll just be sharing pictures for fun this year. ;yes;
Your going to figure it out Todd, so knock it off
Oh and give me a good length requirement on the Salmon then since I'm way outta whack here, and I'll edit the list up there.
By the way call me when you get time, I tried and left a message but I'm not sure I used the right number.
And ben....you hush up! :laf: :laf:
Jim,
Seeing how people up north can "net" fish and there was no mention of not "bow" fishing. Is this tournament limited to "Hook and Line" or is it "light the stick of dynamite" and I might win?
Jerry
Darn Jerry. ya had to tell! I do have a 5' hoop net, but haven't did the dip netting thing in years.
Jim,
Best guess on averages would be
Kings 36" is probably good
Chums 28"
Silvers
Reds 22" is probly fair since pinks are at the low end and silvers are at the high end
Pinks
No really I don't hink my camera has that time feature?
got it
What size for walleye? I can't seem to catch one, but just in case I luck into one.
:doh2: forgot em
How's 16 inches sound?
16" is fine. Now if I can just catch one.
Logan and I have our sign all made up went out friday and saturday and all we caught was a few creek chubs man what a start lol :roflmao:
Thats NOT a good start, but's it is a start :hahaha:
so do rainbow browns and brookies fall under the pan fish ar do we have a size for them set like 10" or 12" or something just makin sure before logan and I head out again
I'll add those LORDDAL. Let's go with 12" on all of them. Anything caught in a lake will surely be over, and it'll keep the brooks and streams from bringing us a plethora of little ones.
The stripper limit is killin me,... ours around here are usually no bigger than about 24-25 inches most of them are hybrids and are only15-18 inches.
I agree with Al on the striper limit (freshwater). Anybody that catches a 30" around here gets it mounted. :eyebrownod: Most of mine are in the 18"-20" range.
Are you both talking about freshwater, if you are I'll add another listing for it. The 30" is for saltwater.
The stripers we have in Ky are all freshwater.
It probably won't matter though. The spring spawning run is over and they went $40 (gas prices) back down the river.
Yes in the Ohio river. And what about hybrids? Some folks call them wipers they are a cross between a striper and a white bass and look a lot like a striper.
It's either 12 or 14 then...we'll go with 14
Stu aint got no pics up yet.....
Well, since its raining here and I cant work today, lets slip off to the swamp and see if we can catch a fish or two.
Be righhhhhhhhhhhhht back
holy crap :shck: panfish has to be 8inches . thats gonna be kinda hard for creek waders. bluegill and sunfish just dont get that big around here :noway:
Dang Jimbo...what kind of chemicals you guys have leaking into the waterways up there :shck: 36" Kings still seems to be a bit excessive, at least by Lake Ontario standards. I'll be going up there again this summer, but the average we were getting on kings last time I was there was more in the 30" range.
I guess it doesn't matter anyway, the deadline for the contest precludes me from entering any decent fish. I won't hit the saltwater until the end of July and the Kings won't come until mid August
Okay, I'll quit whining now. I'll just have to rely on the bass, walleyes, and perch :wo:
Good luck to all
Steve
Blame that one on Todd :laf: :innocentwhistle:
Way to go Todd :noway:
So Jimbo...where does a silver bass fall? I do intend to stick it in a pan before I eat it. Does that make it a panfish? :wo:
FYI...They are usually only 8"-12" when we catch them
And can I get a sticky on my tally please
Steve
what bout bullheads? where do they fall?
Well....silver bass, aka white bass, sand bass, actually average 10" to 16", so lets go with a 12" minimum. That work for you Steve?
Bullheads are too commonly measured by weight, but average anywhere from 6" to 12", so how does 8" sound, northern coyote?
I'll edit the list.
sounds good to me
Ten days left :shck:
Y know......i am the one who wanted this......and since it started, I have only caught one fish that was even CLOSE to being a keeper. :madd: Most of the time I haven't caught anything. :argh:
I think ya smell funny...Ya think thats it?............. :roflmao: :innocentwhistle:

Well......maybe, I know I don't smell fishy. :nono:
:roflmao: :roflmao:@DD
