As we all know,,, work sucks,,, & this evening I finally got to get back to the lathe. I have a couple orders to make up for retirements plus I owe a favor back to a good Friend so I decided work be damned I'm gonna whittle me up some pens & pencils.  :eyebrownod:

Cherry Burl Gatsby click pen/pencil set. This set has some nice figure in it for cherry. This is the pencil & the pen is nearly identical.

Here is a Sketch Artists pencil. Maple Burl dyed Red. This sucker uses a 5.6mm  lead. When I order one of these I get the red/green/blue refills & include it in the price.  :wink:

The Gatsby set is for sale. I would like for Scott {iahntr} to have 1st dibs if you all don't mind.

Real nice Glen :yoyo: :yoyo: what size blank of wood do you need to make those? I may have somthing you could use from time to time. :eyebrownod:

5/8"-3/4" square x 2"-3 1/4" long. Depending on which kit I am turning at the time. We can work something out I'm sure.  :biggrin:

My daughter loves to draw and takes alot of art classes at school. I'm seeing a possible birthday present.
