Well it has been a great spring for Diane (the wife) and I,we got our first bears. It started out on Thursday night at 6:00 and at 7:15 she had her bear down.We were reading our books on stand and I had just put mine down to take a look around we we spotted this black one coming into bait,I tell her to get ready and she cant see it in the scope,She had to move to get a better shot so she sets on my lap :innocentwhistle:,and takes it with one shot.
The bear only went 35 yards and that was that.So proud of her.
Then we decide to go back to the same bait on Friday night and we are reading our books,She hits me and said theres a bear on the bait, theres a bear on the bait, she is just a bit excited and i look up and there is this cinnamon bear and it is just starting to have a snack.I let it eat for a bit and go ahead and take the shot. :yoyo:.It only went 15 yards and piles up.What a way to start the year.
Hope you enjoy the pics
Good hunting,Steve
