Post by: northern coyote on June 20, 2008, 07:17:45 PM
Sounds like a new war dont it   :laf:

ah well, to the point, anyone here ever fished the real banjo system? I just made my own from pictures I'd seen and It really works (1st cast: 2 1/2 lb Bucketmouth) I was mostly wonderin if any of y'all have ever had any expieirences like this, or was this just a lucky fluke?

It is just a slug-o variation. You can buy slug-o's in different sizes and use them in the same way and if you want to weight it just stick a nail or something in it. I have caught some of my biggest bass this way. They sell cheaper versions as well.
I find that the banjo is too soft and not tough enough for multiple catches.
