I got a batch of Springbok horns the other day and I've been itching to try one.The first is a tiny little thing but it puts out great high pitched sounds. The second is my first try at a wood toneboard. I got a long way to go.
Thanks for looking. As allways, comments are welcome.

Cool little calls.
It's funny, the first one looks like it has a lot rougher texture.
The second one looks good, looks like ya got a good fit together.
You say ya got a long way to go, I assume you're talkin about sound?
Curious, what ya usin for reed material? What mil.?
Scott
I picked one of the roughest ones to make the first call from. That way if I screwed it up, it wouldn't be a real good one. Actually I really like the sounds of each of them. I just ment that i've got a long way to go to get them right. They both started out longer than what they ended up. I kept having to sand and try, sand and try.........The reeds are from a plastic sheet of qiulters template material. It's about .010" thick. I've got other mylar material and this sounds the same. It just looks cooler.

Gotcha. I was gonna say, from what I can see, they look good to me.
Thanks, Scott
Cool call Dusty. It turned out nice.. Kerry
Dusty,
Looks like you are well on your way with the Springbok calls. I have a couple completed Springbok calls, but never finished one myself, so you are ahead of me.
