We also caught some real nice gar only one phone pic didnt want those things in my boat

Yep them them sheephead have a stone in thier head I think they call it an olithe.It has something to do with their hearing.
Their good eatin smoked.
Those gar are nasty they try to bite ya and they have lots of teeth.
I usaully just unhook em with the pliers along side the boat and while you do that they hang there with their jaws a snappin.

Well acually before the weekend was out I caught four smallies 4 large mouth 5 or 6 gar a few blue gills and a beer buzz. :biggrin:
