I went out coyote hunting with my uncle this morning and WOW I had a wild time!!! I was using a mouth call of course and doing a fawn distress when something started toward me hard.........I could see the weeds and brush moving and it was comming fast so I got my gun ready and a big doe jumped right at me and hit head first into a tree that I was using to rest my gun!!!
I howled at her and she turned and ran then came back trying to kick me with her front feet. I stood up and hid between two trees with a fallen tree covering one side and pointed my gun out the only opening and started with the fawn distress again then some bird calls to get the birds to join in and they did. Back to the fawn distress and here she came again... :roflmao: I actually touched her once with the gun barrel and scared the crap outa her and me bouth cause she wanted to clearly kill me!!!
I figured she must have a little one near so I decided to go get my uncle out of a nearby tree stand and there he was with this angry deer on one side of the tree, his gun on the ground, he was half way down the latter and a fox started barking at him....... He just laughed and said..."I thought you were dead for sure" :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:
No coyotes this trip, but a story to tell for sure! :eyebrownod:

I have had those crazy Doe come charging at me also. It is fun to watch them get all huffy over the fawn distress!
