Just before supper Chris and I heard the combine working over the wheat field,so after we ate we went
for a walk,and yes we took the camera the binos and the rifle.On the way in we saw 2 turkey's way off in the distance.To far away no pics.I wanted to show Chris where I hunted turkey in the spring so up over the hill we go
I really wanted to check the edges of the corn fields for ground hogs nothing there.On our way back to the wheat field Chris is following me I hear OH MY GOD and a couple quick steps I JUST STEPPED ON A SNAKE!
I said well what kind was it her reply was I didn't ask  :laf:

Down the hill back towards the wheat field she stops and uses the binos to glass the field way over there she is watching deer.I walked a little further and spot a turkey so we sat down and watched it for awhile

We did see there was one poulet with the turkey but couldn't get a pic of it

We let that spot and headed home and we spot a deer in the tree line

Watched that for awhile and we went the other way.I looked down over the bank and there is a ground hog
I was to slow for that one it made it to the weed and I didn't get a shot
It was a nice walk and we will do it again

You just can't hate an evening like that.  :wink:

I know your right and if we don't get raind out tomorrow we will be back out there  :biggrin:

Jim this is the 3rd digi camera that we bought and seems to be the best so far.there are still some bells and
whistles on this thing I don't understand. :laf:

iahntr it was a nice walk and as soon as the farmer on the other side of me makes his hay the walk will
get a little longer and there will be more pics  :biggrin:

Looks pretty good Bill.......and with that poult around, you know that there will be one more turkey for you to hunt next year.  :eyebrow:

Glen I was thinking the same thing we were a week early to do the crow hunt we wanted to do
