Just a tidbit of information I received tonight.
You may have seen me post about ICANN running out of TLD's.
ICANN is the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers, meaning domain names. :eyebrownod:
and TLD's are Top Level Domains. Which is like .com, .net, .org etc.
ICANN announced today that they are releasing a new TLD officially on the 17th for personal web pages which will be .ME
So you could by a domain such as YourName.ME
Dynadot http://www.dynadot.com whom I refer all my web clients to for the domain name, will be offering these domains for 19.99 each and with a two year minimum.
Anyone can register a .ME domain and with no restrictions.
Just an FYI...we now take you back to your regularly scheduled program
That is interesting. The name for the .mac account has changed to .me (short for mobile me).
Jerry
Bopeye has got to get the BITE.ME web site. :roflmao:
:laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2: @ ^^^^!!
that izzzzz funny. It's probably gone already
