Title: honest opinions turkey hunters/callers
Post by: Silencer on July 30, 2008, 04:12:52 PM
Please give me you deep honest opinions, I need them.  I'm thinking of entering a calling contest, I know I need to practice more, I already got some tips from Brent, but I want some opinions from the masses on what yall think.

IMO, my kee kee run/ assembly call is weak, but the others seem good.

FEEDBACK PLEASE !!!!!!!!!      THANK YOU !!!!!

Dammit, didnt load right... BB asap.

How long does it take Crap Tube to process a 2 min video ???  GRRRR... <impatient>

Hey Silencer

My advice is to just enter the contest!  What we think might not matter much.  It's what the Judges think and the skill level of the competitors.  For example, if I was in the contest you would have an excellent chance of winning.      But if Brent Saxton is in the contest, well,  good luck and hope he's real sick that day.   :nono:

Aug 23 at the 150th annual Harford Fair, Harford PA.  Think you have to be signed up by 10:30 am and the contest begins at noon.  I left my book at work, not sure if thats the exact times.

Silencer,

I say go for it.  I bet you'll have a great time, meet some interesting people and do as good or better than you think you would do.

I was hesitant about entering the Pa State Pred Calling Contest and I'm so glad I did today.  I honestly didn't think I would do very well but I surprised myself.  Most importantly though It was a ton of fun and an experience that I will never forget.
