I got a Panasonic DMC-LZ6. It has a six power zoom and 7.2 megapixels. I think it cost about $150- $170. I hope this helps.
If you're looking for something bigger my wife has some fancy Olympus E-volt 500 with two lenses. I think it was around $800 but it is very nice.
Regardless of the camera you choose.... :wo:
it'll be out dated in a month ! :madd:
Olympus D-560 here
I just got a Kodak EasyShare M753. It's a great little camera for putting in the fanny pack for the hunt.
However those with big hands or are all thumbs this might not be the camera for you. :rolleye:
I use a Nikon Coolpix 16. It's a 7.1 megapix with up to 12x zoom and it will do anything my wifes camera will do. Hers was a top end Cannon at the time she bought it. Mine was only $99.
Polaroid a520 $98 @ Wallyworld and it SUCKS :readthis:
I am thinking about getting the Kodak easyshare my brother in- law has one , I used it some ... I love the ease of use and good quality Photos it gets.
One thing that you need to watch... make sure the camera uses standard SD cards or a common data storage media. Some cameras use their own internal memory chips or dedicated cards that are pretty expensive or may not be easy to find.
Kodak Easyshare for me. Model C533. Only has 3x zoom but it is compact and easy to take on coyote stands, long as it doesn't fall out of my pack. After looking in the tall grass for about 20 minutes Al finally found it?? Good eyes AL.

So you forgot your caller once lost your camera once....what else ya got going on down there Frogman? :roflmao:
Hey Jim,
You guys lay off us old guys. Our minds aren't what they used to be but we are still getting out of the recliner and getting out after the coyotes. I'd much rather be doing that and forgetting stuff and loosing stuff than being stuck in the hospital for nearly a month like I was back in June. :yoyo: :yoyo: :yoyo: It sure is nice to get back out again. Even fi I do forget something every now and then.
Jim
:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: Some guys nail thier finger..........Some guys poop on the beach........some go hunting with just a cane......Frogman?.........Just part of the crowd.
Poop on the beach!
ROFLMAO!!! :roflmao: :roflmao: :laugh2:
:roflmao: Wonder who that was on the beach? :wo: :roflmao: :roflmao:
All my recent pictures have been taken with a point and shoot Sanyo Vpc e760. I think we paid around $130. It fits in your pocket and is very simple and easy to use plus the photos turn out pretty darn good. Only thing I added to it is a memory card, the down fall to the camera is the battery, it uses a rechargable cell phone style and if it wears out I'm not sure about replacing it.
I can't believe you guys make fun of my camera....... :rolleye:
And just exactly what is wrong with hunting with a cane? :eyebrownod:
:roflmao:
Samsung L100. About $130 at Wally world. Smaller than a pack of cigarettes, 8.2 megapixels and uses a standard SD memory card. Downside is it only has a 3X optical zoom.
